Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Candor, a service operated by Paradigm Machines ("we", "us"). By using Candor you agree to them. If you use Candor on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to do so.

What Candor does

Candor runs a short, AI-led interview about your work to help your organisation find inefficiencies and bottlenecks. It can optionally read limited information from your Gmail, once and read-only, to tailor its questions, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your responsibilities

Share only what you are comfortable sharing and are allowed to share. Don't enter passwords, customers' personal data, or other information you are not permitted to disclose.
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no automated scraping, and no unlawful, abusive or harmful content.
Connect only an email account that you own or are authorised to use.

Your content

You keep any rights you have in what you write. You allow us to process it to run the interview and to produce findings for the organisation that invited you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Findings are about how work gets done, not assessments of individuals.

AI-generated content

The interviewer's questions, summaries and findings are generated by AI and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are a starting point for understanding work, not professional advice, and should not be the sole basis for decisions about individuals.

Availability

We aim to keep Candor available and secure, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may suspend access if these terms are breached.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the basis of Candor's output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Candor at any time, and ask us to delete your interview data by emailing ryan@paradigmmachines.ai.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and for material changes we will tell users before they take effect. Continuing to use Candor after that means you accept the updated terms.
